I live in the Czech Republic, about 40 minutes from Prague, in the town of Roudnice nad Labem, which is above the Elbe River. My younger children are studying here in the Czech Republic - my son is studying exact sciences at the University of Pilsen, and my daughter is studying design at the Academy of Fine Arts in the wonderful town of Světlá nad Sázavou. My oldest daughter lives in Moscow. As for myself, before university, I was a bus driver, a surveying technician (i.e., a "jack of all trades"), and I’ve done various other jobs. After that, I became an archaeologist, a history teacher (and I still teach, only via Skype), a private school director, a television screenwriter, and more, also working as a literary editor.
