About me
I was born and raised in Florida. I came to Israel on a birthright trip in August and I am making Aliyah. I brought as much as I was able to carry with me on the trip. This is my first time in Israel. I won’t be going back to America so I’m working on making Aliyah from within Israel. My primary focus is my Torah study. I am a convert and I take Hashem very seriously along with tznuit. My mother passed away unexpectedly when I was 14 years old and that’s kind of what pushed me to be to where I am today. I was left with a huge hole in my heart. I grew up as an orphan. My dad wasn’t really in my life . My mom meant everything to me, she was a single mother and we were extremely close. I was a pre-med student but I gave it up because I had to move to a Jewish community in Miami, Florida in order to convert. I’ve been Jewish for a little over a year now. I don’t plan on ever going back to galut, not even to visit. I am here in Israel permanently and I want to raise a huge, beautiful, healthy, G-d fearing family here. I’m hoping Hashem will bless me with lots of children, B’ezrat Hashem. I study Tanakh, Gemara, Mishnah, Midrash, Mussar, and halacha (Yalkut Yosef). Halacha is a huge thing for me, it is what keeps me grounded.. I am currently learning Hebrew so that I will be able to translate and study the Tanakh, the Shulchan Aruch, and the Gemara in Hebrew on my own without the English. I love to pick apart the texts and see the deeper meaning in the Hebrew otherwise it’s like kissing Hashem through a veil. Torah study is one of the things that encourages me to keep striving. I also daven three times a day, it’s a must for me. I enjoy talking and connecting to Hashem whether that’s through studying Torah, davening or simply meditating and enjoying nature.
Interests
Studying and learning Torah. I also like to meditate and watch shiurim
Things I want in a partner
Someone who takes Torah very seriously along with his studies and doesn’t just study just to study but actually practices what he studies. A man who fears Hashem and who accepts and believes in both reward and punishment, not just one or the other. A person who is kind and zealous for Hashem and his Torah and does a lot of Chessed and also loves and wants children. I would like someone who is patient, gentle, and understanding. I love to communicate on deep levels and I could talk about Torah for hours and hours so I would appreciate a man who wouldn’t mind doing this if it came down to it. Someone who appreciates my level of modesty especially after marriage because I’ve taken upon myself not to show my hair at all; not even inside of the house and I don’t believe in wearing wigs, so I would need someone who would be okay with that. I value someone who enjoys connecting and working together to achieve our goals and organizing family activities as well with our children B’ezrat Hashem
